Billy Elliot
Billy Elliot, directed by Stephen Daldry based on a real-life story. Poor Durham pit village boy, Billy, at 11 year-old, stay with his father, brother & grandmother, choose to attend ballet class secretly instead of boxing lesson. His instructor, who recognise his talent, persuades him to try out for the Royal Ballet School in London, but this will be something impossible for him to ask permission from his father & brother. However, not to waste the talent, on the day that Billy has to decide to try his luck in the RBS to his instructor but he failed to do so, his instructor looking for him in his house & suddently everything 'BOOM'. His father and his brother show their anger to him & his instructor & stop Billy to attend his ballet class. One gloomy night, in the boxing training centre, his father found out Billy & his friend practicing ballet...& Billy, for his first time in his life, shows his anger to his father by performing his ballet talent. Everthing change from this point, & his father who are also important person in protesting for higher payment from his manager, decided to support Billy. And for the first time again, both of them travel out from Durham to London-something new for them-& Billy has to show to the judges his talent in Ballet. Can he do that? Watch it...this is nice movie about earnestness of village boy to achieve his desire. I love this movie & watched it many times already... imdb=7.6(19Feb2007)
